Patent
Preliminary Search
Within the scope of the patent/utility model preliminary search report, the documents closest to the invention are identified through national and international patent databases and the patent/utility model registration criteria are evaluated.
In order for an invention to obtain a patent registration, it must provide the criteria of novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability. On the other hand, the inventive step is not required to obtain a utility model registration.
Patent / utility model preliminary search report provides;
- information about whether the invention is included in the state of the art or whether it is obvious to the person skilled in the art considering the prior art,
- preventing time and financial losses by providing insight into whether the invention meets the criteria for patent/utility model registration.
In standard patent/utility model preliminary search reports, the technical features of the invention are compared on a table with the closest documents in the technical field to which the invention relates and an assessment is made as to whether the invention is patentable.
Within the scope of the detailed patent/utility model preliminary search report, in addition to the comparison of the technical features of the invention with the closest documents in the technical field to which the invention is related on a table, an opinion is also presented on whether the invention is patentable in terms of each technical feature.
